Evangeline Van Niekerk within the framework of the Design Festival Hamburg 2007 the project "Beautiful Suffering" before. Love and suffering are the two poles between which the fashion designer. How much can you suffer and it still look fantastic? What attracts a woman for the "Sexiest Ex-Lover alive"? "Beautiful Suffering" stands for stylish mourning - erotic fantasy included. The artist plays with clothing, screen printing and small film and music performances. The title of her collection "English fever", "Phantom Pain" or "Love Shuttle" show that is the focus of morbid fun. Who now wants beautiful, unfortunately, can share his world-weariness here with us.
