Nigel Farag - Group, freedom and democracy EFD

Christmas Greetings from Nigel Farage ... speech by Nigel Farage (Group for a Europe of freedom and democracy - EFD) on 15 December 2010 at the European Parliament in Brussels.

"2010 will stay in our memories, in which the fundamental shortcomings of the Euro project were revealed and the public thanks to the sheer stupidity its political leaders awoke. And now we have another climax, another crisis of confidence in the euro takes off a week. It is as consider a car accident in slow motion. And now you want a permanent rescue. They think if they have a fund with, say, one billion euro, everything will be fine. Now nothing will be good!
The failure of the euro has nothing to do with speculation. It has nothing to do with the markets, no matter whether it's currencies or bonds. It is because the north and south of Europe, neither today, nor can be united at a different time in a monetary union. It will not work! What a farce! They have been in their own country in June not even a government. A non-nation attempt to abolish our nation, this is really an absolute farce! But no one here dares to admit that because they all remain in denial. Belgium is a microcosm of the entire EU, Belgium is on the verge of falling apart into pieces and the rest will follow.
And politically they have to change the contract. The reason will be to win the four German professors in Karlsruhe, and thus prove that the bailouts that have been initiated, were already illegal under the current Treaties.
Now, in many ways I welcome this amendment to the contract. Because this means that there will be another referendum in Ireland. And you do not know if David Cemeron will follow his promise and hold a referendum in the UK. And I'm sure you, the "democrats" would welcome all for a referendum on the EU in the United Kingdom. We
could think at the end of 2010 not only on the status of the Union, but also on the status of Belgium. For six months, the Belgian Presidency has sat here and told us we must integrate ourselves more.
Merry Christmas to you all! "
